Ostap is a registered architect and founding partner of Clouds AO. He is a Visiting Associate Professor at Pratt Institute and has been an invited critic at Princeton, Columbia, Carnegie Mellon and UPenn. He has given a TEDx talk about the future of architecture. He received a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Design after completing undergraduate studies at the Architectural Association and Carnegie Mellon University.

Masa is a founding partner of Clouds AO, established in 2010 in New York City. He holds Masters degrees from University of Washington and Kobe University, Japan. Masa has worked on projects ranging from national museums to public arts. He gained worldwide acclaim for his winning design for the competition of 9/11 Memorial in Staten Island NY, which was awarded by the American Institute of Architects. Masa has lectured at Pratt Institute, Tokyo University and Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
